Mrs. Bich Van – Lecturer of Architecture Faculty of University of Architecture of Ho Chi Minh city, CEO of V.A.N Design kicks to start the seminar with a presentation which approached & impressed guests by stimulating graphic animation, which integrating knowledge of interdisciplinary science.
She also addresses the meaning of human-being height ratio, and why manufacturers should care about it in furniture design. Besides, She points out some diseases such as Degenerative spine, Herniated disc, muscle pain,… comes from failure in furniture design, wrong posture while working.
The next presentation is conducted by Mr. Ryoji Hisazumi – General Director of Okamura International Vietnam. He brought on stage 4 different kind of chair which was designed & manufactured by Okamura to share how Okamura applies ergonomic into their product to create office chairs protect user’ health.
Not only left the seminar with valuable information and present to guests the manufacturing process of a Japanese chair with high-quality standards from functions, materials, and designs but also a message of Okamura philosophy: “Quality pays for itself”.
